Luckily, some of my friends are amazing chefs, and will feed me if I brave the rain and show up with wine! My friend Leita makes an incredible eggplant parmesan, and I’m always happy to pair it with a nice bottle of Syrah. I’m a great kitchen companion, but not so great a cook.

While I like board games on occasion (though the less complicated the better, in my mind) my preferred rainy day activity with friends is usually lounging in the kitchen drinking wine while they cook. Not everyone is as enthused about this prospect as Nathan is, but the addition of beer and pizza goes a long way ) On the plus side, that means plenty of opportunities to perfect the perfect rainy day activity! I’m an extrovert so my ideal scenario is to be trapped inside with a group of my favorite people – which is exactly what happens to Nathan in Huntsmen! His apartment is where Kiara and Ryn and the rest of the pack wind up hiding from the Huntsmen, and he’s able to indulge in one of his favorite rainy day activities… playing complicated board games with his friends. This year I think the rain started in October and has continued with no signs of stopping. From a gentle misting to a sudden downpour, Vancouver is rainy. Huntsmen, the next book in the series, is a F/NB romance with more of an urban fantasy feel, and follows Kiara, the Alpha-designate of her werewolf pack as she’s forced into hiding with her genderqueer ex-lover, Ryn.Ī few years ago I moved to Vancouver, BC, and the one thing about Vancouver is that everyone tells you when you announce you are going there is that… it rains.

My first novel, The Better to Kiss You With, was a F/F paranormal romance published by Interlude Press in 2016. I’m a queer romance writer from Vancouver, BC. Michelle’s sharing a bit about herself with us, and there’s also a great giveaway, so be sure to check out those details below. Today we’re so pleased to welcome first time visitor author Michelle Osgood on the tour for her new novel, Huntsmen, book two in The Better to Kiss You With series.
